This planetarium is the first phase of the Birla Science Center in Hyderabad, which was nothing less than a landmark to bridge the gap between the popular masses and science. This dome-shaped structure was developed with technological help from Japan. This place presents its visitors with the latest information about the Universe and various theories and inventions related to it.

It not only educates but also entertains its visitors in different ways. It was approximately 14 meters in length and 5 meters in height. The fossils were found and collected in the Adilabad district of Telangana and were assembled by Geological Survey of India.
