How To Reach gottam gutta

• Zaheerabad is well connected to Hyderabad. Many buses travel to/via Zaheerabad from Hyderabad. The frequency is every 40 min.
• You can also reach Zaheerabad through the trains. You have to get off at Zaheerabd and arrange a private transport from Zaheerabad.
• Those wishing to visit the place should travel by Kukatpally, cross BHEL, Sangareddy crossroads before reaching Zaheerabad. From there a little further, turn left at Chinna Hyderabad and drive about 25 km through Chinnambatti and Nandunraka tanda to reach the forest area.

Chandrampalli Dam

If you choose the other route you can see the Chandrampalli Dam is built across the Bhima River. The dam is located in Chandrampalli village of Chincholi taluq under the Gulbarga district of Karnataka. As one of the main dams in the district, he is responsible for the irrigation of several villages in Chincholi taluq.

The dam was built in 1973 and has 6 dump valves each having a size of 9.14 mx 5.64 m. The relief valves are located at the south end of the dam. At the level of the full tank (FRL), the dam has the capacity to store water up to 493.16 feet. The maximum water level (MWL) of the dam is 496.21 meters.

It has a gross storage capacity of 34.19 mcm. The live storage capacity is 31.4 mcm. The dam has a height of 28.65 meters above the foundations and the length of the dam is 926.54 meters.
